Nate Smith

Nate Smith, P.E. has extensive work experience in the public sector and engineering firms. Nate currently holds the position of Deputy Director of Public Works/City Engineer at the City of Banning since November 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Beaumont, CA starting in December 2010. Nate's career began at Rick Engineering Company in June 2003, where they worked as an Associate for over 18 years until November 2021.

Nate Smith, P.E. earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they studied from 2000 to 2005.
