Currently serving as City Planner for the City of Batavia, Illinois since September 2022, Zachary previously held the position of Village Planner for the Village of Montgomery, Illinois, from March 2022 to September 2022. Prior experience includes roles as GIS Analyst at Peoples Gas, where responsibilities included mapping natural gas utility infrastructure in Chicago, and at Southern Company, where duties involved gas infrastructure mapping and corrosion system record maintenance. Zachary's academic background includes a Master's in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago, as well as a Master's in Geography from Miami University and a Bachelor's in Geography and Cartography from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
