Community And Economic Development Intern at CITY OF BELLEVUE

Eldon Luo has a diverse work experience in various roles related to community and economic development, landscape design, and advocacy for transportation improvements. In 2017, Eldon worked at White Oak Studio, where they collaborated with a landscape architect to produce site plans, grading plans, and landscape detail drawings for multiple parks and residential projects. In 2019, they joined SLA Studio+Land as a landscape designer, where they contributed to the production of construction documents and coordinated with interdisciplinary teams for community master plans and landscape designs. Eldon also had a role as an AmeriCorps VISTA Mobility Justice Advocate at the Snohomish County Transportation Coalition from 2021 to 2022, where they organized zoom meetings, advocated for transportation improvements, and produced blog posts to promote public transportation. Their most recent experience, starting in 2023, is as a Community and Economic Development Intern at the City of Bellevue, Washington.

Eldon Luo began their education journey in 2015 when they attended Texas A&M University. There, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture with a minor in Urban and Regional Planning. Eldon successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2019.

In 2022, Eldon Luo enrolled in the University of Washington College of Built Environments to further their education. Eldon is currently pursuing a Master of Urban Planning degree, specializing in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning. This program is expected to be completed by 2024.
