Michael Kattermann

Michael Kattermann has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Michael is currently the Community Development Director for the City of Bellevue in Washington, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the same role at the City of Bothell in Washington from March 2018 to May 2022.

In addition to their work in city government, Kattermann served as a Board Member for Congregations for the Homeless from March 2016 to October 2021. Michael'scareer in planning began at the City of Renton, WA, where they started as a Senior Planner in the long-range planning group in June 1991 and eventually became the Planning Director in January 1994.

Michael Kattermann earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Michigan State University from 1976 to 1980. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Community and Regional Planning at The University of Texas at Austin from 1982 to 1984. Michael Kattermann also holds a certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), though details regarding the month and year of obtaining this certification are not available.
