Rachel Morrison- O'Shea

Rachel Morrison-O'Shea is an accomplished building official with extensive experience in community development and building inspections. Currently serving as the Deputy Community Development Director, Chief Building Official, and Floodplain Manager for the City of Benicia since May 2015, Rachel has held various roles including Interim Building Official. Prior experience includes serving as Interim Building Official for the City of Lathrop and as a Contract Senior Building Inspector for the City of Brentwood. Rachel began a career in building inspection at the Town of Danville from July 2005 to April 2014. Educationally, Rachel holds an Associate of Science degree in Construction from Diablo Valley College, earned between 2014 and 2018.
