Eric Anderson

Eric Anderson is a seasoned transportation planning professional with over two decades of experience in various roles within public sector organizations. Currently serving as Principal Transportation Planner for the City of Berkeley since August 2008, Anderson leads a team of six and oversees a $5 million consultant team to manage comprehensive transportation planning functions, project development, and funding initiatives. Previous roles include acting as Transportation Division Manager in the Department of Public Works and serving as the Vision Zero Program Manager at Alta Planning + Design. Anderson's career also includes significant positions at the Marin County Bicycle Coalition and the Chicago Department of Transportation. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a non-degree program in History and Political Science from Dominican University of California.
