Hilary A. currently serves as the Grants Program Lead for Civic Arts at the City of Berkeley since April 2022. Previously, Hilary was a Broadband Analyst at the California State Library, focusing on digital equity and funding opportunities. Prior experience includes roles as an Arts Program Specialist at the California Arts Council, coordinating various arts initiatives, and serving as a member of the Emerging Leaders Network Council at Americans for the Arts. Additional positions held include Arts Education Program Coordinator at the City of Sacramento and Community Arts Coordinator at the Utah Division of Arts & Museums. Hilary's earlier career includes roles at the Oregon Folklife Network and Know Your City, with foundational experience as a Gallery & School Administrator at Wind Fine Art Gallery and a Student Assistant at Ohio State University Urban Arts Space. Hilary holds a Master of Science in Arts Management from the University of Oregon and a BA in Music and History of Art from The Ohio State University, alongside a Professional Certificate in Conflict Resolution from UC Davis.
