Marcus Bell

Marcus Bell is an experienced Senior Information Systems Specialist at the City of Berkeley since March 2023, with a long-standing volunteer role as Communications Team Captain at the Alameda County Sheriff's Office since February 1998. Previously, Marcus served as an Information Systems Specialist at Berkeley Public Library from May 2005 to March 2023 and worked as a Contract IT Consultant at RMPR Financial Group, where responsibilities included network design and implementation. Marcus also held the position of Technical Support Specialist at ABM Industries, Inc., managing server build and administration tasks. Marcus obtained a bachelor's degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University between 2011 and 2013.
