Kirsten Rowe

Assistant Director of Human Resources at City of Beverly Hills

Kirsten Rowe has been working in Human Resources for over five years. Kirsten started as an HR Senior Management Associate for the City of Torrance and was quickly promoted to Human Resources Administrator. In this role, Kirsten was responsible for all HR activities for the city, including labor negotiations and employee relations. Kirsten was also the Chief Labor Negotiator for 11 various employee groups, including safety personnel.

In January 2018, Kirsten started working as the Assistant Director of Human Resources for the City of Beverly Hills. In this role, Kirsten is responsible for all HR activities for the city, including benefits, leaves management, employee relations, performance management, and labor relations. Kirsten also partners with departments and HR staff to develop new training initiatives, foster employee engagement, and mobilize talent.

Kirsten Rowe has a Master of Public Administration from California State University-Long Beach and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from California State University-Long Beach.

Michael Nettles - Human Resources Manager, Sharon L'Heureux Dressel - Risk Manager report to Kirsten Rowe. Their manager is Shelley Ovrom, Director of Human Resources.
