Karen Stanley has over four decades of experience in public health, currently serving as the Manager of Disease Prevention & Clinical Services at the City of Bloomington Division of Public Health since December 1976. In this role, Karen oversees the WIC Clinic, Immunization Clinic, and Sage Women's Clinic, while having previously managed the Family Planning Clinic, Cholesterol Screening Clinic, and Well Child Clinic. Prior to this, Karen worked as a Public Health Nurse at both the City of Bloomington and Suburban Public Health Nursing Service, focusing on Well Child and Immunization Clinics and conducting home visits for nursing care and health education. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work/Physical Education from Augsburg University.
