Efrain Arias

Efrain Arias is an experienced professional with a strong background in strategic initiatives and public health. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives & Partnerships for the City of Boston since November 2022, Efrain previously held multiple key roles at the Boston Public Health Commission from July 2014 to November 2022, including Program Director of the Neighborhood Trauma Team and Senior Project Manager. Prior experience includes positions at YW Boston as an Outreach Coordinator and Program Coordinator, and as a Youth Service Specialist at Action for Boston Community Development. Efrain earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wheaton College in Massachusetts between 2006 and 2010.
