Emy Metzger

Emy Metzger is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Boston since September 2024. Previously, Emy worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Denis P. Cohen at the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, providing legal research and writing support from August 2023 to September 2024. Emy's teaching experience includes designing and instructing an Environmental Law & Policy course at Boston College from January 2022 to May 2023. Additional legal experience encompasses roles as a Legal Extern with the Conservation Law Foundation, a Judicial Intern at the EEOC, and a Paralegal Assistant at Holland & Knight LLP. Emy Metzger earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor’s degree from Barnard College.
