Jennifer Gaugler

Architectural Historian at City of Boston

Jennifer Gaugler is an experienced architectural historian currently serving at the Boston Landmarks Commission since December 2020. In addition, Jennifer has been a proofreader for Black Spectacles since December 2019. Previous academic roles include visiting assistant professor and adjunct professor at Wentworth Institute of Technology, as well as graduate student instructor and PhD candidate at UC Berkeley. Jennifer's editorial experience includes work as an editor for the Room One Thousand journal. Additional roles include academic coordinator for the International Association for the Study of Traditional Environments, architecture intern at Goody Clancy, and design fellow at MASS Design Group. Jennifer holds a PhD in Architecture from UC Berkeley, a Master of Architecture from Tulane University, and a Bachelor of Science in Art and Design from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
