Renee Bushey

Renee Bushey is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Director of Labor Relations for the City of Boston since April 2022. In this role, Renee manages labor and employee relations for unionized employees across City departments, overseeing collective bargaining, mediation, arbitration, and legal representation in labor litigation. Prior to this position, Renee worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel III in the Office of Legal Advisor for the City of Boston, focusing on civil litigation and providing legal support to the Boston School Committee. From January 1998 to August 2020, Renee was a partner at Feinberg, Campbell, representing employees, labor unions, and benefit funds in various legal matters. Renee holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Cornell Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from the University of Michigan.
