Daniel Mears is a seasoned public administration professional with extensive experience in local government management. Currently serving as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Bowie, Maryland, since February 2018, Mears also holds the position of Member of the Board of Trustees for the Local Government Insurance Trust (LGIT) and chairs the Underwriting Committee. Mears has a rich history in municipal governance, having held key roles such as Town Manager for the Town of La Plata and Assistant City Manager at both the City of Hazelwood, MO, and the City of Ellisville.
