Harkirat Singh

Harkirat Singh is an experienced public servant and educator, currently serving as Deputy Mayor and City Councillor for the City of Brampton since December 2018. Prior to this role, Harkirat held the position of City Councillor and served as a Trustee for the Peel District School Board from December 2014 to November 2018. Harkirat has also contributed to academia as a Professor at Humber College from December 2016 to December 2018 and at Lambton College from December 2014 to March 2017. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Schulich School of Business at York University, a Master of Science (MS) in Economics from London Metropolitan University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Toronto Scarborough.
