Nick Ataie

Nick Ataie, P.E., is an accomplished engineering project manager currently with the City of Bremerton since September 2022. With extensive experience, Nick has served as the Engineering Capital Improvements Program (CIP) Manager and CIP Engineer for the City of McKinney from February 2016 to September 2022, overseeing various aspects of project management within the Development Services Division and Engineering Departments. Previously, Nick held positions as a project manager at CH2M from April 2013 to February 2016, managing transportation design for major projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and as a Transportation & Traffic Engineer at H.W. Lochner from January 2007 to April 2013. Additionally, Nick has been involved with the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) Preston Trail Chapter since January 2009, serving as Past President and committee chair for sponsorships. Nick began a career with a summer internship at the Texas Department of Transportation in 2005 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2006.
