Charles Booth

Charles Booth has extensive work experience in the field of communication and community relations. Charles is currently the Director of Community Relations at the City of Brentwood, Tennessee since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Austin Peay State University, where they held various roles including Director of Communication, Assistant Director of Communication, Adjunct Instructor (English, Communication, and Business Communication), and Staff Writer. Charles also worked as a Reporter for The Tennessean from April 2004 to November 2008.

Charles Booth completed their education at various institutions. Charles acquired a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, graduating in 1999. Following this, they pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English from Austin Peay State University in 2010. Lastly, Charles completed their Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degree in Creative Writing at Murray State University in 2014.
