Mike Murray is an experienced city manager and entrepreneur with over 25 years of expertise in management, project development, grant writing, and problem-solving across municipal and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as the City Manager for the City of Bridgeport, Texas since November 2021, Mike has previously held leadership roles, including City Administrator in Westworth Village and Clyde, as well as City Manager in Rusk, where responsibilities included overseeing multiple city departments and personnel. Additionally, Mike has provided consulting services through BFAconsulting and has engaged in academia as an Adjunct Professor of State and Local Government at Jacksonville College. Mike holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University.
