Paul Johnson has extensive experience in public service, currently serving as City Manager for the City of Toronto since September 2021, after previously holding the position of Deputy City Manager for Community and Social Services. Prior to this, Paul worked for the City of Hamilton from November 2010 to September 2021, where roles included General Manager of Healthy and Safe Communities and Director of several initiatives including LRT Project Coordination and Neighbourhood and Community Initiatives. Earlier in their career, Paul served as Executive Director at Wesley Urban Ministries from March 2000 to October 2010. Paul holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from McMaster University, which was obtained between 1990 and 1993.
