Steven Chapman

Steven Chapman has extensive experience in financial management and leadership within municipal and non-profit organizations. As the Deputy City Manager for the City of Brookhaven, Georgia since September 2016, Steven oversees various administrative and financial operations. Prior roles include Chief Financial Officer for the North Lauderdale Recreation Foundation Inc. and Director of Finance for the City of North Lauderdale, where Steven managed financial strategies and service delivery models. Additional experience includes key financial positions at the City of Tamarac, Fort Lauderdale, and Clayton County, where notable achievements include budget management and significant improvements in collections and operational efficiencies. Steven holds a PhD in Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University and advanced degrees in Finance and Management from Georgia State University and Georgia Institute of Technology.
