Nick Calubaquib

Nick Calubaquib is currently the Director of Parks and Community Services at the City of Watsonville since April 2018. Prior to this, Nick held various roles in the field of recreation and management, including serving as Recreation Manager at the City of Morgan Hill and Recreation Superintendent at the City of Watsonville. Nick has a Master's degree in Recreation Management from San Jose State University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Latin American Studies from UC San Diego. Throughout their career, Nick has demonstrated leadership in strategic planning, grant writing, staff development, and overseeing various youth development programs and recreational activities.
