Micah Grau, ICMA-CM, has extensive experience in municipal management, currently serving as City Manager for the City of Buda, Texas, since January 2017, with prior roles including Interim City Manager, Deputy City Manager, and Assistant City Manager. Previous positions include Interim City Manager and Assistant City Manager for the City of Hutto from April 2012 to December 2016, with earlier experience as Director of Finance and Budget Analyst in Hutto. Grau began a career in public service as a City Manager's Office Intern in Kerrville, Texas, in 2006. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University and a Master of Public Administration from Texas State University, along with a certification from the Public Executive Institute at The LBJ School of Public Affairs.
