Dr. Callie Johnson

Dr. Callie Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community engagement and communications, currently serving as the Deputy Mayor of Community Engagement for the City of Buffalo, New York, since July 2023. Prior to this role, Dr. Johnson held various leadership positions, including Director of Communications and Community Engagement at Albright-Knox and Owner of Bold Lines Consulting Firm LLC. Notably, Dr. Johnson was a member of the Forbes Communications Council, an exclusive community for communications and marketing executives. Previous roles also include significant positions at the Girl Scouts of Western New York and The Belle Center, contributing to marketing, development, and program direction. Dr. Johnson holds a PhD in Leadership and Policy from Niagara University, an MS in Global Business with a marketing focus from Daemen University, and a BA in Communication with a minor in Sociology from the University at Buffalo.
