Jerry Nostrant

Jerry Nostrant serves as Battalion Chief for the City of Buffalo, New York, since January 2022, overseeing the 3rd Battalion, 4th Platoon. Previously, Nostrant held the position of Chief of Fire Prevention with the Buffalo Fire Department from January 2020 to January 2021, and served as Chief of Operations for Buffalo Fire Department Communications from April 2019 to January 2020. Nostrant progressed through the ranks of the Buffalo Fire Department, working as a Captain from January 2017 to April 2019, and as a Lieutenant and Firefighter from September 1990 to December 2017. Additionally, Nostrant contributed to the training of First Responders at Titan Corporation/Level 3 from April 2003 to January 2007, focusing on areas such as Hazardous Materials, WMD Awareness, and Mass Casualty response skills.
