Kaitlynn Given

Kaitlynn Given is an experienced planner with a solid background in community and regional planning. Currently serving as a Planner for the City of Burnaby since January 2023, Kaitlynn has previously held planner roles at the City of Abbotsford, where responsibilities included a comprehensive Zoning Bylaw update and reviewing development applications. Prior experience includes working as a Technical Assistant for the City of North Vancouver, contributing to projects such as post-occupancy evaluations for parks and developing public realm plans, and as a Planning Assistant at CTQ Consultants Ltd., where Kaitlynn contributed to Official Community Plan updates and various urban development strategies. Kaitlynn holds a Master's degree in Community and Regional Planning from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from The University of British Columbia Okanagan.
