Karim Dhanani

Karim Dhanani has a diverse and extensive work experience. Karim began their career in 1984 as a Systems Manager at AUPE, where they were responsible for managing contracts and overseeing the replacement of the financial system. In 1993, they founded Newwave Innovations Inc., where they served as the President and lead consultant, specializing in Applications Development. Karim then worked as a Team Lead and Functional Analyst at Pacifica Papers, contributing to the SAP implementation project. From 2003 to 2008, Karim worked as a Business Solutions Architect at Norske Canada, where they designed processes and solutions for the SAP system. At Catalyst Paper from 2008 to 2019, they held several managerial roles, including Manager Project Management Office, Manager Application Development, and Manager, SAP Services. Currently, they have been working at the City of Burnaby since 2019, initially as a Senior Manager and now as the Director IT, Corporate Systems.
