Lois Dawson

Lois Dawson has extensive experience in the arts and events management sector, currently serving as the Coordinator for Festivals & Special Events at the City of Burnaby since February 2020. Prior to this role, Lois operated as a Freelance Stage Manager for various theatre, dance, and opera companies from 2005 to February 2020. Additional significant positions include Front of House Supervisor at The Cultch, General Manager at Theatre Terrific, and Production Coordinator at chuthis dance. Lois has also contributed as a Marketing Assistant at The Vancouver Fringe Festival and held various roles supporting event coordination and stage management across multiple festivals and artistic organizations. Lois holds a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Communications from Trinity Western University, completed between 2003 and 2007.
