Vishad Deeplaul

Vishad Deeplaul currently serves as the Lead for Equity, Diversity & Inclusion at the City of Burnaby since July 2022. Concurrently, Vishad has been the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for Backpack Buddies since February 2019. Prior experience includes working as a Campaign Manager at United Way of the Lower Mainland from February 2020 to July 2022 and serving as Managing Director at Deepsons from January 2000 to June 2017. Vishad holds a Certificate in Events Management from the University of Cape Town, obtained between 2016 and 2017, and a degree in Fashion Design from the Durban University of Technology, earned from 1997 to 1999.
