Vivek Sharma

Vivek Sharma is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software development, systems analysis, and application development. Currently serving as a Senior Fire and Emergency Systems Analyst at the City of Burnaby since October 2004, Vivek has enhanced team capabilities and operational efficiency within the Fire Department. Prior to this role, Vivek worked as a Software Developer, Systems Analyst, and Consultant with Independent Software Consulting Services, where notable contributions included the deployment of the Siebel Sales Force automation system for Microsoft. Earlier experience includes a position as a Programmer Analyst at the British Columbia Securities Commission, where Vivek played a key role in developing a revenue accounting system, as well as foundational programming roles at various companies. Vivek holds a diploma in Computer Information Systems from Okanagan University College and a Certificate of Achievement in Organizational Leadership from the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
