Wendy Tse has a diverse work experience in various organizations and roles. Wendy started their career in 2005 as an Air Issues Research Assistant at Environment Canada. In 2006, they worked as a Vancouver Logistics Assistant for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. In 2010, they were a Research Assistant at the Disasters Reduction Lab, SCARP. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Planning Technician, and then as a Planner from 2014 to 2018, both at the City of North Vancouver. From 2018 to 2019, they held the position of Senior Planner at the same organization. Currently, they are working as a Director of Community Planning at the City of Burnaby since 2019.
Wendy Tse obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Geography from The University of British Columbia, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts in Planning at the same university and completed their studies from 2009 to 2011.
