Juan Mallqui Reyes

Juan Mallqui Reyes is currently serving as the Geographic Information System Administrator for the City of Carrollton since February 2024. Previously, Juan worked as a Geographic Information Systems Specialist at TSCG from August 2022 to January 2024, providing consultation and advice on geographical information and complex GIS solutions. Juan's experience also includes a role as a Geographic Information Systems Technician at New York State Parks, where responsibilities included mapping snowmobile trails. Additionally, Juan held various positions at the University of Connecticut, including Research Assistant and Administrative Intern in the Geoscience Department. Juan received a Bachelor’s degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences and a Minor in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Connecticut, alongside a marketing internship at Prime Energy Solar and a winter program focused on Geology in Taiwan. Early work experience includes a cashier position at Walmart.
