Tom Rice

Tom Rice is an experienced library professional with over a decade of experience in supervisory roles, currently serving as Library Systems Supervisor for the City of Carrollton since June 2011. In this position, Tom ensures the smooth operation of library systems while collaborating with the IT department and vendors. Prior to this, Tom held various roles including Library Circulation Supervisor and Teen Librarian, with responsibilities in staff training, strategic planning, and programming. Tom also worked as a Library Technician at General Dynamics Information Technology and has a background in Human Resources and training from positions at Borders Group, Inc., and Barnes & Noble. Tom holds a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi.
