Ariba Naqvi is an accomplished arts professional with extensive experience in education, conservation, and community engagement. Currently serving in the Arts and Community department at the City of Casey since November 2020, Ariba specializes in delivering public programs and exhibitions while managing collection operations. As a co-founder and workshop facilitator at Aforart Australia, Ariba designs workshops to enhance creative learning for both adults and children. In the role of Arts Teacher at New Star Art School, Ariba develops curricula and fosters an interactive classroom environment for visual arts education. Additionally, Ariba volunteers as a conservator with the National Trust of Australia (Victoria), focusing on collection management and preventative conservation strategies. Previous experience as an Associate Conservator at the National Gallery of Modern Art in Mumbai included documenting and treating art objects. Ariba holds a Bachelor's degree in Art Education from Jamia Millia Islamia and a Master's in Art History and Aesthetics from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, complemented by a certificate in conservation.
