Courtney Harrison has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Courtney started their career in 2000 as a Paralegal at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. In 2002, they moved on to work as a Claims Advisor at the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) until 2006. From 2006 to 2009, they served as a Regional Indigenous Family Violence Co-ordinator at the Department of Health & Human Services, Victoria. Courtney then joined Community First Development as a Senior Community Development Officer from 2012 to 2017. Courtney has most recently been employed at the City of Casey, where they started as a Team Leader Aboriginal Programs from 2017 to 2019.
