Armando J. Garcia-Baldizzone is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in public works and engineering management. Currently serving as the City Engineer for the City of Cathedral City since September 2022, Garcia-Baldizzone previously held the position of Director of Public Works for the Town of Yucca Valley and the City of Blythe, overseeing key divisions such as engineering, street maintenance, and water treatment. Additional roles include General Associate Planner for the City of Desert Hot Springs and various project management positions in civil engineering and infrastructure with firms such as Fuscoe Engineering and Fomotor Engineering. Garcia-Baldizzone holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Kaplan University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Universidad Catolica Argentina.
