City Planner at City of Cedar Falls

Chris Sevy, AICP, currently serves as a City Planner for the City of Cedar Falls since December 2019. Prior to this role, Chris worked as an A/R Analyst at Traeger Pellet Grills, LLC from April 2015 to December 2019, and as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs from July 2014 to April 2015. Chris's earlier experience includes an Analyst position for Procurement and Strategic Sourcing at Aquanima - Santander Group, successfully negotiating $4.5 million in annual spend, and serving as an Online Learning Consultant at BYU-Idaho, where Chris researched and provided feedback on online teaching techniques. Chris also held the role of Supervising Analyst at the Research and Business Development Center, managing consulting projects and analyzing financials for various organizations, and was a General Manager intern at Talion Construction. Chris holds a Master’s Degree in City and Metropolitan Planning from the University of Utah, a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Brigham Young University - Idaho, and an Associate of Science in Business with an Accounting Certificate from LDS Business College.
