Jennie Huerta

Jennie Huerta is an established Media and Communications Manager at The City of Cedar Park since December 2010, with prior experience as a Television News Reporter at KVUE-TV and KEYE-TV. Huerta’s career includes significant roles such as Director of Development at San Juan Diego Catholic High School and Office Manager at The Vazquez Law Firm. With a strong foundation in journalism, Huerta served as Longview Bureau Chief at KETK and worked as a reporter at Kriv Fox 26. Early career highlights include being a Radio Announcer and Public Service Director at KRTS Classical 92.1 FM and teaching broadcast communications as an adjunct faculty member at Alvin Community College. Huerta holds a BA in Communication from the University of St. Thomas and has completed a Strategic Management Program for Nonprofit Leaders at The RGK Center for Philanthropy and Community Service at The University of Texas at Austin.
