Katherine Trotter has extensive experience in urban planning, currently serving as the Zoning Administrator for the City of Champaign since January 2023. Prior roles include Planner II, Planner I, and Associate Planner for the City of Urbana, Illinois, from August 2019 to December 2022, as well as a Planning Intern with the City of Champaign and the City of Prospect Heights. Katherine began a career in retail as a Salesperson at The Batterz Box from May 2012 to August 2014. Academic qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Urban Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and Planning, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
