Tracy Dodson

Tracy Dodson is an experienced urban development professional currently serving as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Charlotte since May 2018. Prior to this role, Tracy held the position of Vice President, Brokerage & Development at Lincoln Harris from May 2014 to May 2018, and served as an Office Specialist at Cushman & Wakefield Thalhimer from January 2013 to April 2014. Tracy also contributed to economic development as the Director of Economic Development at Charlotte Center City Partners from July 2009 to December 2012. Earlier in the career, Tracy worked as a Development Manager at Harris Development Group between August 2007 and May 2009 and coordinated transit-oriented development as the Transit Station Area Development Coordinator at the City of Charlotte from February 2005 to August 2007. Tracy started the professional journey as an intern at Odell Associates in 1994. Educational qualifications include a Master of Design in Real Estate and Urban Development from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
