Brett Lucas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in urban planning and GIS consulting. Currently serving as the Principal Planner and Communications Manager for the City of Cheney, Washington since May 2010, Brett manages city communications and coordinates economic development activities. Additionally, as the Owner/Principal of Cardinal Geographics, Brett operates a successful consulting firm focused on retail site selection and GIS services. An educator, Brett has been an online Geography Instructor at the American Public University System and an Adjunct Instructor at Eastern Washington University since 2013 and 2015, respectively. Previous roles include various planning positions in Cowlitz County, Vancouver, and Alameda County, where Brett processed complex development applications.
