Jessica Roberts

Jessica Roberts is a highly skilled legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the legal field. Currently serving as the Assistant Inspector General at the City of Chicago Office of Inspector General since December 2022, Jessica previously held positions such as Associate Attorney at Berger Schatz and Assistant State's Attorney at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. Jessica's academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD), cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law, and a Magna Cum Laude Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Oklahoma. Jessica has also contributed significantly to legal scholarship as Editor in Chief of the University of Illinois Journal of Law, Technology & Policy and has engaged in civic activities, notably coordinating voter registration drives while serving as a Civic Engagement Fellow at the Carl Albert Center.
