Kevin Murphy has over 20 years of experience in budget management and labor relations. Currently serving as the Managing Deputy Budget Director for the City of Chicago since October 2010, Kevin is responsible for overseeing workforce management initiatives and has developed key metrics for citywide projects. Previously, Kevin held the position of Labor Relations Supervisor at United Airlines, and served as a Union Representative for SEIU, leading negotiations on various contracts. Kevin also worked as an International Organizer for AFSCME prior to joining United Airlines. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Relations from Michigan State University.
