Courtney Chase is an experienced municipal leader with a robust background in human resources and management. Currently serving as Deputy City Manager and previously as Director of Human Resources for the City of Chula Vista since March 2015, Courtney has also held HR management roles in the City of Encinitas and the City of Coronado. Prior to these positions, Courtney gained valuable experience as a Labor Relations Officer for the County of San Diego. Courtney Chase holds an MBA in Management and Finance from San Diego State University and a degree from UC San Diego.

The City of Chula Vista is located at the center of one of the richest cultural, economic and environmentally diverse zones in the United States.
