Edward Chew

Edward Chew has an extensive career at the City of Chula Vista, spanning over two decades from 1998 to the present. Initially serving as HR Operations Manager, Edward Chew managed recruitment, classification, compensation services, and front counter operations. Edward Chew advanced to various leadership roles, including Administrative Services Manager and Continuous Improvement Manager, overseeing divisions such as Fiscal and Resource Management and implementing a LEAN program to enhance operational efficiency. As Director of Information and Technology Services, Edward Chew coordinated several critical units within a medium-sized law enforcement agency, including research analysis, crime laboratory, evidence management, and police support services. Edward Chew holds a BA in Public Administration from San Diego State University and an MBA in Management/Marketing from CSUSM College of Business.
