Scott Dedert

Scott Dedert is a skilled urban planner with extensive experience in city planning and market research. Currently serving as a City Planner for the City of Clayton since August 2019, Scott previously held the position of Senior Planner for the City of Decatur, IL from August 2018 to August 2019. Prior to this, Scott worked at Save-A-Lot as a Market Research Analyst, where responsibilities included complex data modeling for market expansion and marketing strategies. Experience also includes a Planning/GIS Internship at the University City Community Development Department, contributing to design guidelines and comprehensive planning efforts. Scott's career began at Rockwood Bank, where work included loan processing and customer service. Scott holds a Master of Arts in Urban Planning and Real Estate Development and a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Science and Cartography, both from Saint Louis University.
