James Burns

James Burns has extensive experience in technology support and volunteer service. Currently serving as a Desktop Support Technician for the City of Colleyville, TX since April 2019, James brings previous experience as a Satellite Communications Technician at Gifford TV & Electronics, Inc. from August 2017 to April 2019, and as an IT Support Technician at Consulting Environmental Engineers, Inc. from February 2013 to February 2015. Additionally, James volunteered with the Texas Trails Council at Boy Scouts of America since May 2008, and worked as a Planetarium/Observatory Technician at Tarleton State University from August 2009 to August 2017. James earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Tarleton State University, attending from 2009 to 2016.
