Randy Helms

Randy Helms currently serves as a Councilmember for District 2 in the City of Colorado Springs, having held this position since April 2021, following election as Councilman Elect for the same district. Previous roles include Campaign Director and Director of Class Giving at the USAF Academy Endowment from February 2016 to July 2019, and HR and Manpower Analyst at NORAD-USNORTHCOM/J6 from September 2015 to February 2016. Randy's extensive background in military leadership includes positions such as Chief of Staff at the WMD Center at the National Defense University and various roles within the United States Air Force, including Commander of the 76th AS and Chief of Staff at the National Defense University. Randy holds a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, an M.S. in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, and an M.S. in Defence Studies from the University of Madras.
