Michael Stinziano

Michael Stinziano currently serves as the Franklin County Auditor and has been a City Councilmember for Columbus since January 2016. With extensive experience in election law, Stinziano is Of Counsel at McTigue & McGinnis, LLC, where assistance is provided to clients regarding compliance with campaign finance and election laws. Previous roles include serving as a Representative in the Ohio House for Districts 18 and 25, and as Director of the Franklin County Board of Elections, where oversight of elections for over 800,000 voters was managed. Stinziano also worked as Assistant to Legal Counsel for the Ohio Secretary of State. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, a Master of Public Administration from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Richmond.
