Justin Edson

Justin Edson, CCEA, COSS, currently serves as the Public Safety Manager for the City of Commerce, where responsibilities include emergency management, community safety and engagement, animal control, parking enforcement, and crime prevention. As the Founding President of the Code Enforcement Officer Safety Foundation, Justin has led an internationally recognized non-profit organization supported by various notable associations. Previous roles include the Neighborhood & Business Services Division Manager for the City of Monrovia, Acting Building & Safety Manager and Community Compliance Manager for the City of Rialto, and Senior Neighborhood Improvement Services Officer for the City of San Gabriel. Additional experience encompasses positions as Lead Code Enforcement Officer in Hermosa Beach and Community Services Officer in Newport Beach, where Justin's career began as a Police Cadet. Justin holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and an Associate's degree in Political Science and Government from Orange Coast College.
